Recruitment for CEO in the works

Max Crumit has recently been recruited to serve as CEO of the North American operations for Betonwerk US.  There is no formal announcement that Mr. Crumit has accepted the position.  Max Crumit’s career builds on more than 30 years of engineering experience in the transportation and toll industries. He stands out as the former strategic program director for global design and construction group C2M HILL, in which role he analyzed and developed opportunities in land, sea, and air transport. Max Crumit accepted this position following two years as executive director of the Orlando-Orange County Expressway Authority (OOCEA), where he revitalized negotiations with the Florida Department of Transportation and earned media accolades for his success in restoring transparency to the authority.

Max Crumit has also distinguished himself as the long-time president of transportation for PBS&J Inc., where he created and implemented strategies that more than doubled transportation revenue and expanded the company’s market reach. He effectively redesigned procedures and processes to improved quality and consistency, while also optimizing profitability and performance. Named board sponsor to the company’s toll industry practice, he also led as principal in charge on the firm’s general consultant contract with Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise. Mr. Crumit draws on extensive experience with high-profile projects across Florida, including the redesign of the I-4 corridor and the construction of World Drive in Walt Disney World.
